Because of our convenient location on one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the Netherlands, the Schoorl Dunes, the cycling and hiking possibilities here are endless. Each route offers a new view of the vast dunes or forests. For those looking for some culture and conviviality, the famous cheese town of Alkmaar is an absolute must. Here, every Friday morning (between March and September) on the Waagplein, the archetypal Dutch spectacle of the cheese carriers takes place. In nearby towns such as Bergen, Medemblik and Hoorn, you can stroll around picturesque shopping streets and then settle down at a waterside terrace. For a romantic getaway, a unique boat trip through the Amsterdam canals is also within reach. Now that's a vacation!
